I suppose I should have been more specific, however I am encompassing all mining ships (exhumers and barges alike) in this post. As for the trade off issue? We're not talking about replacing combat ships with mining barges, what I'm talking about ...

Basicly, as it stands mining barges are pretty much wet paper napkins under heavy fire. And generally have little to no defensive measures they can take when under heavy assault. My question is, should this be the case? What would be wrong with g...
